Updated about 11 years ago.
Category:
04 - Root File System
Description
sshd prints out that its missing /var/empty on init startup. Don't know if that's a problem or not.
- Priority changed from Normal to Urgent
- Severity changed from 03 - Medium to 05 - Very Low
- Target version changed from 1.0 - Atreides to 0.7.0
- Status changed from New to In Progress
- % Done changed from 0 to 10
/var/empty may be created by buildroot but it's removed by S00dev the first time it boots. The fix is to add a symlink to /var/volatile/empty from /var/empty in S00dev, then mkdir /var/volatile/empty.
- % Done changed from 10 to 50
Update has been pushed upstream but the fix has not been tested yet.
- Status changed from In Progress to Closed
- % Done changed from 50 to 100
Verified. This fix should remove the error message that was displayed on boot (prior to adding the splash screen).
Closing issue.
