Description
The /etc/network/interfaces file has it configured so the problem seems likely to be in the S40network init script.

This is the Ironman S40network init script, which can be found in the monitor app source tree. It replaces the Pibox Dev System S40network init script by moving the latter into ~/root/.imcore.

I've made a online fix for this that simply brings up the wired network on every boot. It's in the sandbox but needs testing on hardware.
