Description
I should have made a repo of my own. Now I need to pull from the official yocto repository and make sure the psplash app builds from that.
Since I was pulling a tarball, I now need to pull a git repo and patch it, possibly. If the yocto build doesn't work as I'd like then I might look at github repos for an alternative. Either way, I should probably track my own psplash git repo.
This needs to be fixed for 2.0.

Switched to yocto repository and a git-based build. Updated patches to get the color bg's desired.
Tested on hardware, committed and pushed.
Closing issue.
