Description

I need to make sure all of the opkgs function as expected given the updated rootfs and kernel. This includes:

  1. crtmpserver
  2. mjpg-streamer
  3. monkey
  4. piboxd
  5. piboxwww
  6. psplash

These should be rebuilt against the new staging tree before testing.

crtmpserver wouldn't build because the XBMC package in Buildroot 2013.11 (added by PiBox) wasn't enabled and didn't have tinyxml enabled - fixed.

All opkgs work as I can launch the webcam from the web interface. It's a little flaky at first but seems to settle down after a time. I'll leave it running overnight and see how it behaves.

Other than that the only problem I found was with the surf browser, which may have picked up some bugs in recent updates to the master tree. That's tracked in RM #257.

The packages built okay but do not run okay. I think the majority of the problems are network related. I have unstable network connections and streaming with the 3.10.y kernel. So now I'm trying 3.12.y and 3.6.y.

I need to find a kernel with stable networking before I return to this issue.

All packages bumped to v0.8 and tested on the latest toolchain/kernel/rootfs. All are working.

Closing this issue.
