Description

There are several improvements to make.
  • When draw_status() is called a mutex must be used.
  • When date/time is updated, only update that side of status bar but not icons.
  • When SIGUSR1 arrives, only update icons that were marked "in service".

A version of this is implemented but needs testing. It's part of the RM #1201 updates.

This was fixed with RM #1232. The solution was to make the status bar into two separate widgets, one for date/time and the other for apps.

RM #1232 is closed. This issue can be closed.
