Discussion suggests that very short cables can cause problems with reflection.

It's difficult to find very short Type C (Mini-HDMI) to Type A (HDMI) cables or converters. So instead of looking for very short cables I need to find some more flexible cables that can be easily wrapped in a case.

  1. eBay
  2. Ribbon cable connector for Type C to Type A - this might be something I could make
  3. Ribbon cable connector but for micro-HDMI

HDMI cables for prototype player and server cases have been found. The player is a bit long but fits inside its case. The server uses a long external cable.

Pictures to be added to wiki soon.
