A tool is required that can render a URL into an offscreen pixmap that it can then save to an image file, resized appropriately. This tool would run in the background to generate new icons for the URL at a user specified time and period. The UI configuration tool will handle scheduling when to run the program. This tool only needs to do the rendering and saving to file.
